POTW - Me Day

Every so often you need to take some time for yourself. A day to just relax, do whatever it is you wanna do without a schedule. This past Memorial Day I chose to hop on my bike and hit the beach to just ride around and enjoy the sea breeze. I took my camera along because hey- you never know. Am I happy I did! Sunset rolled in and I was able to capture this photo. Yes, it was a good day.

POTW - New York

This week's photo comes to us from the city that never sleeps, my birthplace New York. This is a 3 photo panorama stitched together and processed in Lightroom 6. Here are my settings for this shot. Shot this on my Canon 7D with a 28mm F1.8 at f22. My ISO was at 100, and my shutter speed was 30 seconds, taken on May 23rd, 2015.

I've always wanted to capture NY from this angle in Brooklyn. That silky water is just the best. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I enjoyed shooting it.
